Langfang Municipal Government: Airborne fine particulate pollution characteristics and source apportionment of Langfang

Atmospheric particulate matter is the most important atmospheric pollutant that affects urban air quality in China.  The problem of particulate matter pollution in the atmosphere has caused widespread public concern due to the extensive haze phenomenon. Langfang is located in the center of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, therefore, its PM2.5 pollution is more unique. Hence, this project carried out research on the characteristics of atmospheric fine particulate pollution in Langfang. Besides, it used various means to analyze its source and helped the Langfang Environmental Protection Agency to formulate air pollution prevention and control strategies.
