EED Expert Team to
Hold the Investigation Symposium in Henan
On
June 7, 2018, EED has successfully signed the contract of the ADB project “Support to Public Finance and Finance Sector
Reform in Henan Province”. Undertaking of this project, EED will further
develop the research field, and lay the foundation for the budget, performance
evaluation and other business in the future. EED set up an expert team, which
led by Bai Jingming, vice dean of Chinese Academy of Fiscal Sciences, to
analyze different kinds of project budget management systems from education,
health care, environmental protection, science and technology and industrial
fields.
The
project of expenditure standards system of Henan province has significant
implications for the financial reform in Henan Province. Since the third
plenary session of the 18ty central committee, the Department of Finance in
Henan Province has determined the general idea of "one body, two
wings" financial reform guideline, which represents the budget management
system reform as the main body, the budget management process optimization and
the modern information support enhancement as two wings. This project will
further promote the process of Henan's financial reform and improve its budget
management system.
